Wellness Hike – October 2025
October 12, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Looking to slow down, get outside, and connect with like-minded women? Join me for a casual Wellness Hike in beautiful Moro Canyon!
This is a casual, judgment-free space for women who want to feel better – in their bodies, lives, and minds. Whether you’re into wellness, nature, personal growth, or simply want to get some fresh air, you’re welcome here.
Here’s what to expect:
- We’ll meet at the Moro Visitor Center at 9:00 AM.
- Easy, conversational-pace hike on a 3-mile loop with ~287 ft elevation gain, rated easy by the park.
- Expect fresh air, light movement, and supportive conversation. This is a social wellness hike, not a workout class or race.
- I expect the hike to take us up to two hours.
What to bring:
- Comfortable hiking shoes
- Water (at least 20–32 oz)
- Sunscreen, hat, and optional light layer
- Small snack
- Parking fee ($15) – carpool if possible
Good to know:
- All fitness levels are welcome; we’ll stick together and keep a steady, talk-friendly pace.
- You’re responsible for your own safety and personal needs; please assess your comfort with the distance/elevation.
- Restrooms are available near the Visitor Center.
This is a free experience but please RSVP so I know to expect you!
About me: Hi, I’m Heather! I’m 40 years old and live in Huntington Beach with my husband and our 11-year-old Dachshund mix. I grew up in Wisconsin, but life has taken me on a beautiful journey…I met my husband while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, lived there for several years, and we got married on the beach before moving to California in 2015.
By day I work for the local tourism board, and I’m also a Certified Women’s Health Coach specializing in Burnout Prevention & Recovery and Hormone Health. I’m passionate about holistic living, stress management, and helping women create more calm and energy in their lives. Excited to share this hike with you!
